December 2005 - Shadows during Advent |
While walking back from a movie, we noticed that the Christmas Lights along the
sidewalk we were walking on were casting our shadows on the steps, so we stopped
and took a picture.

September 2005 - Shadows at the Last Game of the Seasontd>
|
We were on the last ticket in our season ticket package. Baseball,
unfortunately, has to end, and we were both glad to be going to a game, and sad
that it was the last one for 2005. On the way over the bridge from the
parking garage to the Terrace Club Level, we noticed our shadows... we were
there, in our sadness, together.

September 2005 - Shadows With The Captain |
We took Don's "Captain Mercury" on
an adventure at Safeco Field, and during it we noticed our shadows up on the
third level.

While at a baseball game, we noticed our shadows on the cracks caused by the
2001 Nisqually Earthquake... Baseball and romance... there's not much better
than that!!!

We were in the meeting room by where our cubes are (there's 5 meeting rooms on
each floor, and we have one of the larger ones near our cubes), and we noticed
our shadows on the wall...

As part of a delayed birthday present, the "Shadow Lady" took me out for a
Sunday Afternoon drive to a place to eat, and then to check out a lighthouse I'd
never been to -- that you could get a tour of!
As awesome and meaningful as that was... we noticed our shadows along the
way, on the ferry in the water, and on the sidewalk leading up to the
lighthouse... |

August 2005 - Urban and Rural Shadows |
|
While waiting for a bus to head to the stadium after work, we shared ear pieces
on an AM/FM Radio, and listened to the game. Now, I really have to tell
you... THAT is high romance, right there... :-) When on a walk near Chinook
Pass to watch the sunset and just stretch out a bit in the peace and quiet of
the Cascades, we noticed our Shadow along the trail. Up in the Cascades,
at sunset, in view of Mt Rainier, with the Shadow Lady... that really IS high
romance. |

We were walking back from the parking ride after a Mariners game, and noticed
our shadows in the light of a street light... after a few tries, I managed to
get a decent picture of them...

July 2005 - Coast to Coast Shadows |
|
On the 4th of July Weekend, we went on a drive down the coast to Astoria.
Along the way, we stopped at Cape Disappointment Lighthouse, and while there, we
saw our shadow on the Light Tower...
Later in the month, one of the things we did while we were visiting Boston, was a walk on the
freedom trail, up to Bunker Hill, and along the way, we noticed our shadows on
the bricks marking the path to Freedom... |

When out company moved to its new building, we noticed our shadows while moving
the moving boxes around... |

We went to Westport to check out the sunset, and to toss down a basket of the
best oysters in the region... while we were there, we managed to notice a couple
of shadows... |

On our trip to San Diego, we noticed our Shadows a couple of times... when
checking out the amenities of the hotel, and an AWESOME one at Sea World, by the
Shipwreck Cafe. |

time afternoon. We went for a walk before heading out to eat after work,
and noticed that our shadows were there, with us. |
