October 13 - Spinning in the Atlantic, but already struggling...


Yesterday, a grouping of thunderstorms organized and became a named system -- Tropical Storm Nana -- which is located in the central Atlantic.

Nana is experiencing strong westerly shear which will inhibit the system's development over the next 24 hours.

Only a 40-mph storm, Nana will quickly weaken to a depression before fizzling entirely in the next day or so.

The final advisory has been issued on Tropical Depression Nana in the central Atlantic.
