July 16 - First organization |
Cristobal
started as a low pressure system in the Gulf, near Florida.
It made is way over Forida on the 16th and 17th, dumping a
lot of rain, and then apparently regrouped itself between
the 18th and 19th...

July 20 - Already Spinning |
I was on vacation... so I missed the first day or so...
Tropical Storm Cristobal is currently the closest system
to land. As of 5 am EDT, Cristobal is located about 130
miles southwest of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, has
maximum sustained winds near 45 miles per hour, and is
moving to the northeast around 6 miles per hour. Cristobal
is expected to increase its forward speed as the day
progresses. While most of the heavy rain and gusty winds
have remained over the ocean, some rain bands are expected
to move over portions of coastal North Carolina today,
especially the Outer Banks, bringing heavy rain and gusty
winds. Tropical storm warnings extend along the entire North
Carolina Coast, including Pamlico Sound. Some strengthening
is possible today.
Seems that it'll graze the
coast...
