Tropical Storm Harvey
Fastest to 8 named storms... records kept since 1851

TD8 spun up Southwest of Bermuda, and within 24 hours, had reached Tropical Storm Status... On August 3rd, Harvey was named... the 8th Named storm this season, and the count went up to 8 for 8 (Numbered stormed vs Named Storms)... all of the tropical depressions so far have resulted in a named storm.

Harvey blew by the Bermuda Islands, and drifted out into open Atlantic waters... It was heading largely North East, but it drifted around erratically for a bit...

On Sunday, Harvey was heading for the cool waters of the North Atlantic, and was being sucked into a front, and turning "extra Tropical"...

Harvey got caught up in a strong cold front on the 8th, and quickly became extra tropical.
