Tropical Storm Gamma
History is made

The record is broken - AGAIN... the season that wouldn't end continued on into the Greek Alphabet...  Gamma ended up being a puff of a storm, but the mere fact that it earned a name is remarkable!

November 18
On Friday Afternoon... A gaggle of thunderstorms organized into a single storm, and almost out of no where, Tropical Storm Gamma was formed...

Gamma was expected to move north, and affect Florida, on Monday.  It was predicted that it would not strengthen to hurricane strength, but come close.

November 19
On Saturday, it had drifted Eastward a bit...

The path had changed as well... AND, it wasn't expected to get nearly as strong...Gama was slated to bring a lot of rain to Cuba, but not really threaten the US very much.

November 20
By Sunday, the storm was floundering, basically where it formed, and wasn't looking like much would come of it... it was also downgraded to a Tropical Depression...

The Tropical Prediction Center didn't think it was going to do all that much... a less than 10% chance that it would strengthen back to a Tropical Storm.

By Sunday Night, it was over... Gamma had degraded to a tropical low, and was not expected to increase....
