Hurricane Emily
Faster to 5 than EVER BEFORE
Just as Dennis came ashore on Sunday, Emily was designated as a Tropical Depression.

Conditions were favorable for development, and it seemed that it would continue to florish.  It was predicted that by Thursday it would be a Tropical Storm.

At 11PM on Tuesday, the 11th of July, Emily was named as the 5th named storm of the season. THERE HAS NEVER BEEN 5 NAMED STORMS BEFORE THE END OF JULY!

The expected route was into warmer waters, and along the southern flanks of Puerto Rico and Cuba...

This map show all the storms that developed in JULY within 600 miles of Emily's location... and where they went.

I went on vacation, and I didn't have access to the web... here's how it looked when I got back...
