I was out visiting with family over the holiday (July 4th), when Cindy blew
itself up into a tropical storm, so I missed the buildup. It came ashore on the afternoon of the 5th, not really stirring up too much commotion... |

| By noon (Pacific Time) on the 5th, Cindy was downgraded to a Tropical Depression... folks were already worrying about Dennis... |
