TD#2 formed on June 28th, at 6PM Eastern in the western Bay of Campeche just
off the eastern coast of Mexico.
It didn't seem to have much of a chance, because it was heading the wrong way... |

The next morning, it had strengthened to a Tropical Storm... Bret. The course remained the same, though... the thought was that it would simply blow itself out on shore. |

By 11pm Eastern on Wednesday, June 29, the final advisory had been issued. At the time, I half expected this one to pull an Ivan of 20004... and end up coming back alive when the wave once again passes over the warm waters of the gulf.
