OK... this is a new one to me.  Snow Doughnuts.  Apparently, snow and ice scale off on a steep slope, and begins to 'bend', and curve down the slope.  Eventually, the weight causes it to break, and roll down the hill... if it encounters the right conditions, a "Snow Doughnut" is formed.

Never heard of them... until now.  Very weird!

Apparently, these had formed several days before they were photographed by Washington State DOT workers checking for avalanche conditions above the highway.
