In 1863, the Pavilion Congregational Church is completed.
It operated as a church until the late 1890's, when the building fell into disrepair. Except for the new front entryway, which was added in the 1980's, and the missing steeple, which was destroyed by a lightening storm in the early 1900's, the building's lines have remained the same.
