Mount St Helens is one place I really enjoy going back
to. For a while, I was heading there on average of
once a month, although most times, I wouldn't bring my
camera, instead bringing a book, usually my Bible, and sit
and read, enjoying the quiet mornings before the tourists
showed up, generally leaving when they did. It was a
great way to start out a Saturday, and a great way to see
the incredible changes that have taken place over the years.
I live quite a bit farther away, now, and I haven't been
going there nearly as much... but its still a trip I enjoy,
and one I won't pass up should the opportunity present
itself! A trip to The Mountain is always a fun thing!
Each time you go, there's something new to see!

Without realizing it... I documented one spot at the
mountain fairly completely... at a location near the
mountain, a truck damaged by the mudflows on the Toutle was
out on display... I would stop there and take a picture here
whenever I brought someone with me to see the mountain...
sort of a stop on my "private tour", if you will... Its
interesting to see the changes...
