North Bend: A new traffic circle |

The same year we moved to North Bend, they installed a
Traffic Circle as you come off the main exit into the town.
Its part of an overall traffic improvement project in the
town, to cut down on congestion.

It took them a while, and things were a mess...

But, it seemed to have gotten better once folks could
actually USE the turnabout...

Eventually, it started to shape up, and look a lot better.
I don't understand the side walk around it, though... :)

Before too long, the cones started coming down, and
the lines were painted... its odd that its two lanes wide,
which causes confusion... it'd be much better, I think, if
it was just one lane, but its STILL better than it was,
that's for sure...Now, we just got to get people to
understand what do to! Its painted on the road, and
there's lots of signs, but I guess folks can't follow
directions well enough.
