I visited Snoqualmie Falls on a foggy fall day in 2007, and
managed to get some pretty interesting pictures. It'd been
raining, and I wanted to see how much water was coming over
the falls... it can be pretty spectacular when there's a lot
of water.
As I was getting close to the falls, I could see a cloud
rising above the falls... the droplets stayed suspended in
the breeze that was wafting up the valley.

The area around the observation deck was very damp and
foggy...
|
Through breaks in the cloud of droplets, the falls looked
spectacular... the sun glinted off the surface of the river
at the top of the falls, making for an interesting contrast.

The smaller droplets were pushed into the air by the breeze,
while the larger ones fell as a misty rain on the valley
floor, both above and below the falls. It was a very
quiet, relaxing morning moment.
