The Black Bridge

For some REAL excitement, we used to play on a rail trestle bridge that was just down stream from Rotary Park. It wasn't exactly the safest place to play, and kids often got hurt - some pretty badly - on it, but it sure was fun. Its not black anymore... its actually not even being used anymore, either.

	Not only was it a short cut across the river, there were several places along the bridge where it was safe to jump into the river, which was an awesome thrill. A cool thing is that my Grandfather used to talk about playing and jumping off this bridge, too.
