I work on the 15th floor in Bellevue. We have a decent overlook of a
construction site that I've noticed I check out from time to time.
About a week after I noticed the activity, I heard on the news that 5 20-story Condo hi-rises were being built, along with about 150,000 sqft of "shop front space", 750 parking stalls, and other urbanite havens...

I first started noticing it in July when they started tearing out a few buildings to put in a cross street between two parking lots...
This is how it looked when they started digging.
By Thanksgiving, the hole was quite deep indeed...
By Valentine's Day, they were heading upwards, off the bottom of the pit...
