0530 - Woke up

Since I couldn't sleep anyway, I went outside to read, and watch the sunrise...

Shortly after the sun came up, I noticed that a volcano on the horizon was belching steam... pretty interesting!

0800 - Breakfast at Cafe Cadessa.

0900 - Loaded up the Trucks.

The drive was pretty interesting.  We had good roads most of the way, and traffic was fairly light until we got into town.

Some of the wiring in the towns was quite interesting, to put it midly!

Guatemala city is a blend of old and new... its quite a large city!

Once we were at the airport, we turned the trucks in, and then said our good byes to Daniella, our guide and interpreter.

Since we weren't in much of a hurry, I spent some time looking around the airport.  In order to leave, we had to pay a $2 "Exit Tax".

Before too long, we were in the air, and on our way home... it was a very pleasant flight... I slept through most of it, though.
It was good to be back in the good ol' USA.
We landed in Houston, and quickly made our way through Customs, which wasn't really a big deal... it wasn't that crowded, thankfully!
We took off from Houston just as the sun was setting... and landed in Seattle a few sleepy hours later...

The salmon stream in the walkway never looked so good!  It was a great trip, but it sure was good to be home!
