0710 Woke up I didn't even roll over! The Shadow Lady gave me something to relax my back... not sure what it was, but I was OUT COLD all night. :-) 0730 - Breakfast 0900 - Bible Study - Beatitudes Review 0930 - Debrief of the trip. Agros wants the groups to do a debrief in-country, when the information is fresh, and we're a captive audience. |

| After the discussion, we walked around for a bit in Antiqua, which existed before the arrival of the Spanish - it was a Mayan city long before then, whihc I found interesting. | ||||||||

There was a large church near our hotel that was built over the top of a
Mayan worship temple. It was very ornately decorated. In the church, they curiously had a chapel set up for a Mayan god... the local Mayans even brought gifts for him, and laid them out neatly on the floor... very curious for a Christian Church, I thought. |

| During our exploration, we found, of all things, a Dunkin Donuts... so of course we HAD to try it out... it was good... not quite the same, but very good! | ||||||||

1500 - Found a German Sport Bar, and talked the owner into setting up a TV
for the Super bowl for us. Almost right across the street from the hotel was a "Bavarian" place... a German Restaurant, in Guatemala... who would have thought! |

1630 - Return to Bavarian place with more of the group. We watched the Super Bowl in Guatemala in a German Restaurant on Spanish ESPN... fun stuff! I befriended a German who was rooting for the Steelers... we had a good time poking fun at each other during the game. It was a fun time! |
