0600 - Woke up 0615 - Helped in Kitchen. we had rotating kitchen duty, but I typically got up early, and went to the kitchen to read and get the coffee going. When the breakfast and sandwich crew got there, I helped out as I could. The Agros complex has a nice view of the valley, and the early morning view was quite nice. The local dogs were there, patiently waiting outside the door for handouts. |

| It was a fairly short drive from Cotzal to the village, on a lightly used road that was in fairly good shape, actually. | ||||||||

0930 - Went through the homes in the village to pray with the owners in
their homes.
They were very glad we were there, and very appreciative that we took the time to travel to their village to visit them. |

| They were mostly wanting prayer for good health, and for a good crop. They also wanted to give thanks and praise for a great corn harvest |

We really were hits with the kids... especially those of us with a camera. They knew the word "Photo", that's for sure... |
||||||||
|
One of the men invited us to a cup of soup (I got a bowl... I guess he
assumed I'd eat more for some reason). It was some sort of Squash
soup. I really liked it, but some others didn't like the consistency all that much. |

We took turns scribing the events of the day, so that we could build a detailed report. I took notes for each of the days we were on the trip, as part of a journal. |

We checked out the town's oven. Its not used as much as it had been in months past, as most of them have built an oven in a side shed they used to cook in. | |||||||
