Matthew 5:14,16
“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden... Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify the Father who is in heaven.” (NASB)

I don't really know what it is, but there's something about a lighthouse that will keep me coming back to see it again.  I like some more than others, but I'll stop every time I have the opportunity, and take a look-see.

From the time when I was a little kid, I've been fascinated with these majestic structures.  At first, it was the impressive size, and the proximity to some of the most rugged coastline.  As I got older, I added the design, and the process that went into its construction.  Now, I've added the history and the influence the lighthouses have had on the area they guard and protect.
