Snoqualmie Pass - Tiger Mountain Trails Area

After work on a Thursday. We had planned a longer hike, up to "West Tiger Vista 3", but we had to work later than we wanted to, and they were closing the gate to the parking area at dusk... so we played it safe, and took a short walk around the lake instead.

So, it's not really a "hike"... more of a walk, but it was nice for conversation, and a fun time out side, away from work...

The "Around the Lake" trail circumnavigates Tradition Lake... The first half the trail is a side walk... a nice place for a walk or a jog.

	The views of the lake weren't too bad... there was a platform at the far end of the lake which afforded a decent view.

Once past the platform, the trail was a bit less well maintained, but still fairly tame. After about a mile from the parking lot, the trail met up with the Puget Powerline Road, which seemed to be tailor made for mountain bike trips. The roadway led back to the parking lot. In all, it was a nice walk, but we'll have to come back and do the Vista hike before too long...
