I grew up thinking the White Mountains in New Hampshire were huge... now, they're almost "bumps"... I've been spoiled by the Mountains of the Cascades!

I remember being at this rest stop lookout with my Grandfather when I was a kid...

I don't have pets, but I like playing with other people's pets... and they usually get along with me well enough.

 
I drove up near Bellingham to visit with the minister from the church of Christ in Des Moines, Iowa, who was visiting northern Washington on a trip. 

He was speaking at the church of Christ in Mt Baker, so I went to go see him since he was an old friend.
