The little guy kept checking the window, hoping that the rain would turn to snow like they'd promised... before too long, it did!
Sticking
With the clear skies, it has been pretty cold, and before too long, it started to stick, even on the roads
Bottom of the snow line
The little guy got pumped up about the snow, and we went out to go for a walk to the park

We had fun making trails, and playing follow the leader

The park was pretty empty.

The little guy marvelled over the snow... it was fun!
Cleaning off a toy
before you can ride, you have to make sure all the snow is off.
Having a blast
He had a good time... but spent more time cleaning it than he did riding it.

He wasn't too sure about heading down the slide...
Fast run
After a bit, he did it - and was Very suprised by how fast he went!
The lake
It was pretty quiet, with pockets of near-frozen water. The ridge overhead was pretty impressive, too.
Snow on the ridge
Not far uphill from us... they got a LOT of snow... we were on the lower boundary of the snowline.

After a very long drought, we FINALLY got snow. A precursor of things to come, we got a thin layer of of the white stuff.
