2012.01.16 - More snow!
We got some more snow overnight, and it snowed a bit during the day. Because of the dire predictions of snowfall for the following couple of days, I went in to work anyway... and had no problem at all.

Another round of snow came... this time, a bit more - enough to say 'it snowed'. We ended up with 4 inches, which is pretty respectable.

After a very long drought, we FINALLY got snow. A precursor of things to come, we got a thin layer of of the white stuff.

2012.01.13 - Colors of Sunset
It'd been clear for a few days here in the Northwest, but the weather is changing back to the familiar clouds - although they were bringing snow with them. As the sun set, the colors reflecting on the growing clouds were pretty impressive!

A break in the clouds gave us a rare opportunity to enjoy the colors of a sunrise, which is a treat during the winter up this way.

We went up to the snow to spend a day playing up there. It ended up that the little guy's enthusiasm for sledding ended long before ours did, but we had a good time, anyway.
