| Morning in the Monte It struck me as I took this picture that its very likely that most folks coming to Vegas don't enjoy the Sunrises... too bad, because they were pretty nice!
The Meeting Room was NICE The meeting room was pretty impressive. The Aria is a very nice hotel... I might see about staying there next year, actually.
Wrapping up After a great morning discussion, and another awesome lunch, things wrapped up, and we chatted about next time, and chatted for a while... as people had to leave, the group thinned out.
The Rio The Rio is a pretty striking hotel, day or night.
Last look at the strip Just before we left the Aria for the last time, I took a picture of the Strip... it looked different every time checked the view, it seemed.
CityCenter Tram We took the City Center tram to get to the Mandarin Oriental
Crystals Retail Center The Crystals Retail Center was a pretty impressive example of how to waste a lot of space! The huge central area was cavernous, but didn't seem to be very effecient.
Interesting View The Mandarin Oriental Tea Bar afforded an interesting view of the strip.
View from Mandarin Oriental We did a brief post-mortem, and talked about next year. All too early it seemed, I had to head out for my flight.
Empty Airport I was leaving in the late afternoon... it seems that not many people head out just as the city is waking up. =]
Alamo Airways There were several displays in the airport that harkened to Las Vegas' past. This one, the Shuttle for Alamo Airways, was apparently a popular item in the city at one time.
The 'Old Days' The Hacendia Hotel was pretty famous for its promotional flights...
Las Vegas History There were several interesting displays set up. I enjoy those sorts of things, and I had a lot of time, which for me is a great combination!
Slots It amazed me at how many people would hit the slots in the airport. I saw more than one flight come in, with several people heading strait from the gate directly to the nearest slot machine, almost like a kid bee-lining for a bathroom... it was both funny and sad.
Back in SeaTac After a relatively short flight that was nearly empty, I was back in SeaTac. I had had a lot of fun, but it was good to be home. Now, I'm REALLY looking forward to next year!
