Thanksgiving was greeted by another round of snow... not a lot, but just enough to make everything nice and white, for company. The Shadow Lady's family came up to visit.

Getting the bird ready
I started off the day by getting the bird ready... I really enjoy it... it sets the day for me.

Two heads
After the bird was in the oven, the sides got under way. I did Cauliflower, for something different.

Snowy Ledge
The Rattlesnake Ledge was almost obscured in the new snow...

Snowy Trees
The snow really set the scene as far as the trees went... it was nice!

The 'before'
Before I went out to shovel, I took a 'before' picture.

Sliding
While I was shoveling, the little guy got to use his sled on the hill in our front yard.

The 'after'
It wasn't that bad... so the shoveling went pretty quickly.

Decent snowbanks
We've gotten a pretty good amount of snow.

The Bird
The bird came out great! I enjoyed the snow, but I was glad it wasn't TOO much snow... we had family driving up from the lowlands. It was nice spending the holiday with the family... which is how it should be, I think.
