The primary reason for my visit was to visit my Uncle, but while driving around town, I snapped a few pictures for memory's sake.

BK
I remember this BK being built, and stopping there for burgers, and crossing the street for the fries and the shake. Good times.

Dairy Joy
It was nice to see the Dairy Joy is still there... I used to love the ice cream in that place!

The Old Bridge
It used to be fun times watching them pull a truck out from under this bridge... I wonder how many trucks got stuck over the years! They finally dug out under it some time after I left, and I guess its not a problem any more.

Locke School
Built as a Primary school in the early 1700's, I went to Kidnergarten here. I went to 1st grade in Gordon School, which was built as a secondary school at the same time. Both schools were closed a year later, and were sold to private companies and remodeled into office space.

Bible Baptist
We switched to this church shortly before I left for the Army. Although this building is about 20 years old, I still consider it the 'new church building'.

Baptism
They had 3 baptisms... always a good thing! I also really enjoyed the sermon... they've recently found a pastor, and it seems he's a good fit! I also linked up wth my old youth group leader, who is now an elder, and with a group starting a new web-based outreach, which I've started helping.

Moxie in the wild
I went to Hannaford's, and picked up some Moxie... Its not something that's readily available anywhere else but Maine.

I remember when the Moxie section was larger than the Coke section... times are changing even back home, unfortunately.
