I had some spare time, so I stopped and took some pictures of the elk again...

Misty fields
The cool stillness of the early fall mornings set up the perfect environment for morning fog, which adds to the scene

Morning grazing
The elk mill about on the field, grazing, seemingly without a care in the world

Watching
The bulls eye one another, sorting out the pecking order for the coming rut season.

Nice scene
The elk, along with the misty layers in the morning light really set a nice scene... a great day to start a day!
