Heading into the camp
The camp is located near Yelm, which makes it a decent drive.

Setting up
we got there early enough to help set up...

The lodge
We normally stay at the 'Rail depot', but with the new dates for the retreat, that one was taken. The new lodge is a bit smaller, but nicer.

View from the room
The view from the room we picked was pretty nice!

Catching up
we carried the table in from out front, and put it on the deck, to make it more accessible for us all.

Fun Times
We had a good time playing, and I actually got pretty good at it. You roll a ball and knock your opponents balls into the back pit. Its a lot more run than that sounds... =]

the meat table
We have a tradition of not having anything out on the table unless it includes meat.

Worship and Fellowship
The singing and the worship was, as usual, great!

Heading to the Cafeteria
The new location meant that the walk to the cafeteria was shorter... =]

Good food!
The food was really good... they really put out a great spread!

Morning Worship
We started off Saturday with a worship service... for me, its my favorite parts of the retreat.

New Bumper
Taking advantage of having a bunch of guys around looking for things to do seemed to be a good idea.

Helping
It seems that most of us work for the government. =]

Relaxing
We spent a lot of time talking and fellowshipping, and catching up on events

At War
The Axis and Allies battle drew a crowd this time... it took 6 hours, but our Pastor's Undefeated record was preserved... we had him on the ropes for a bit, though.

Losing bad
I was Japan, and did well at first, but when Germany couldn't break out of Europe, my lack of resources when compared to the USA caught up with me.

The big tourney
The money goes to help out Doorways, an outreach ministry in our church.

Slight modification
There weren't enough 'snoring' rooms, so I modified a sign a bit so I'd fit in... =]

Great music
We had a small crew, but the music was VERY well done for the retreat.

Great preaching
We had another great speaker! I'll never forget the description Bill gave us of falling off a 70-foot cliff to land at the base of a waterfall... amazing!

Geese
The mirror-like surface was rippled by a gaggle of Canadian Geese... it was nice.

Last looks
We had a great time at the event! I'm already looking forward for the next one!
