All the rain we got in June made the lake very high. July and August have been much drier, but the lake is still higher than average...

Clear blue
The weather in August has been pretty hot and sunny... it makes for nice scenes, but I prefer to take it in from the shade.

Stumps
The lake is Still pretty high, but we're starting to see the tops of the stumps again, and we can see where the beach should be, now too.
