2010.07.03 - Back to the watershed
< Back to Currently

The 'Water drum park', as he calls it, is very likely his favorite place to go... we go there at least once a week, and sometimes more. He has a good time, and the workers there really like his excitement... so we go there a lot.

Learning about water
The displays explain the history of the watershed, and what has to be done to ensure the folks in Seattle get enough water.

Taking the test
He's been there enough to memorize the right answers to most of these questions

The First Cedar River Pipeline
The first pipeline was constructed out of interjoining boards, banded with heavy wire. Portions of this first pipe are still in use.

Checking out the view
This window provides a good view of Rattlesnake Ledge

Listening to the drums
We sit and listen to the drums for a while... its nice!

A nice view
The view from the complex is pretty nice, with the Ledge towering over the buildings.
