They're expanding the sewer line in North Bend, expanding it into a recently annexed section, and nearly doubling the size of the line. Its part of the expansion plan for the city, which includes doubling the size of the population by 2020.

Traffic
Portions of the line cross the roadway... so things get held up now and again, causing backups

Digging up the road
All over town, this scene is repeated. Even in portions of the town where they were already on the city's sewer system, the main line is being enlarged, which means they have to tear out the roadway there, too.

Cleaning up
They're doing a good job of cleaning up behind them... its looking pretty good in the areas where they've moved on.

Nearly finished
This area was pretty torn up a few weeks ago... I'm sure in a year or so, we'll hardly notice what the town looked like during this summer.
