The little guy and I went back to Rattlesnake Lake... the water there is higher still.

Back at the drums
More often than not, the little guy will ask to go see the drums on the way home... since we had time before it closed, we went.

Nice View
The view from the watershed is pretty striking

Old Electrical Plant
This was the foundation for a power plant , which generated power for the electric trains heading up through the pass. Once in place, the electric engines were more efficient and cheaper to operate up the difficult slopes.

Odd bay
This pay opens to a loading door that an old picture of the plant seems to show located at the open end of the bay... seems a bit narrow for storage, though.

On the trail
The little guy likes to explore the various trails in the park...

Under Water
The 'tunnel stumps' are now totally under water... the little guy wasn't too thrilled about that one...

Back at the Welcome Center
The welcome center was closed by the time we got back... but we had a fun time by the water anyway.

Impressive backdrop
The view of the Ledge from the Welcome Center is something I hope I never tire of!
