The little guy and I went back to the water drums again. He was hoping to play on the stumps, but thankfully I warned him that they'd probably be under water. The water is even deeper than it was the last time.

Salmon Berries

His favorite stumps are just poking above the waterline. He was pretty disappointed!

Flood Gage
The flood gage is well under water...

High water
Its pretty high, but according to the park rangers, not as high as it has been since the welcome center was opened... it has a good distance to go, apparently.

Heading back up to the welcome center
Since there was no beach to play on, we headed back up the trails to the welcome center.

Watching a bird
Along the way, the little guy was checking out birds, and looking for rabbits. He saw one with mom recently, so he was hoping to see another one.

Sending the balls on their way
One of his favorite things to do is play with the balls inside the center.

Getting a stamp
They have a series of animal stamps for a worksheet they hand out to kids going through the center...

Listening to the drums
We spent some time listening to the drums, then headed on home... another fun trip! =]
