The little guy and I went for a short walk to go feed the ducks, and play at the park for a bit. He didn't like the bright sunlight (neither did I, actually), but we did both manage to have a good time.

The Park
The little guy didn't like the Sun so much, but the walk there, along with the hope of feeding the ducks, kept the excitement up

Down the path
I was surprised at how empty the park was, considering how sunny a day it was

'Too Bright!'
He wanted to stay in the shade, but he eventually came out of the shadows and made his way down the trail

Ready for fun
Seeing the park's 'toys' perked him up! It was empty... I guess all the kids were watching TV or something to avoid the heat.

High water
The lake is a LOT higher than it normally is. We've had our fair share of rain and wet recently.

A family
We saw a 'mommy duck with her babies', but they didn't come close enough to eat the cracked corn we were throwing

A bit too much water
The field is being slowly overrun by the water

Run off
The overflow stream actually has water in it. We typically see that in the fall and winter, but not this late in the spring season.

Liking the shadows
He seemed to perk up under the shade of the trees -- a true Pacific Northwest kid! We had a good time, and it was fun being outside.
