Both of us had the afternoon off, so we picked up the little guy early, and asked him where he wanted all of us to go... he picked the Water Drums... =]

The Drums
We listened to the drums for a while, then went down to the lake

The Lake
The lake was very still... it was fun watching the clouds form as the air was pushed up the slopes of the ridge

Snake
We noticed a snake that had seen better days... something had munched on most of it.

High water
The water was very high... normally, we could walk out to the stumps you see on the right of the picture...

flooded tunnel
Eventhe tunnel stump was flooded, much to the disappointment of the little guy. We still had a good time, though... we got to throw some rocks into the water, after all!
