Its been cold here recently! Too cold to snow, actually. Heading in to work, the guys in my carpool noticed that the Snoqualmie River was icing over -- we all drive past or over the various forks of the river on the way to the park and ride -- so we stopped my the Falls to see what they looked like on the way in.

Icy
The ice formed large stalactites as the water cascaded over the falls

Frozen Spray
It made it look even colder than it was

Frosty
Armed with a continual spray, the ice was building up along the falls. It looked very nice!

The Falls
Snoqualmie Falls takes on a whole new look when its iced up! That doesn't happen all that often out this way. We didn't stay long, because it was, as I'm sure you can tell, pretty cold!
