Camping out
We got there at just before 4 in the morning - the event opened at 7... and we were over 100th in line. The first two in line got there, with their sleeping bags, at 10 the night before.

In the rain
It was raining. They'd decided to make folks wait outside to try and cut down on the line. It didn't work

Rain gear
Most folks, including me, brought ample rain gear.

Not in first group
They started at 6:40 or so, and let in 75 people at a time... so I was in the second group. The folks in the first group got the 'good' phones. They had a 5 phone limit, but with everyone grabbing 5, it added up quick.

More folks
When the line moved me out of the square where I had waited, I saw just how long the line was!

Up the hill
In the room, it was too much chaos to get a pic... but it was pretty crazy! I got a few phones for backup, and for friends, as well as a bluetooth headset, and a headset for using a VOIP phone (such as Skype - which was random, but welcome), and called it good. When I left, there probably was 500+ people still in line... it went up the hill behind the trees - you can see the umbrellas up there.
