Heading in to work, we stopped to check out a herd of elk... they're usually someplace around town every day... but on this day, they were on the way to work.

Mt Si
Once we'd stopped to check out the elk, I noticed that Mt Si had a striking snowline... Mt Si is about 4200 feet, so the snowline looked to be about 2000 feet or so.

It looked like most of the herd was out in the field

Bulls
A couple of bulls were breaking the quiet with their grunts and their antlers crackling together

Seeing if anyone is interested
They'd pause every so often, as if to check to see if any of the ladies were watching them.

Milling about
They didn't seem to care... the majority of the elk were busy eating the wet grass in the quiet of the morning. After a bit, we headed on to work... what a great place to live, eh?
