Down in Seattle
We took the bus into Seattle, after linking up at the Mercer Island Park n Ride. It was a rare sunny fall day in the Emerald City

The 'I was there' picture
He wanted the shot for his family.

Qwest Field
The game was already nearing the end of the first quarter when we got there.

Safeco in the background
When they built Safeco, folks thought it was big, until Qwest field went in!

The Blue Skies of Seattle
'The skies are never so blue as they are in Seattle' goes the saying...

Ready to score
I didn't have the camera for it, but I really liked where the seats were -- they had a great view of the field.

Milling out early
The seahawks dominated pretty much right from the start, which is somewhat rare for them this year. Folks started to leave pretty early in the game.

Game over, man, Game over!
Not having been to many games, we stayed to the very end, and since we were riding the bus out of the city, were in no real hurry to head out.

Seattle's new light rail (FINALY)
While waiting for our bus, the light rail train came. It went operational a few months ago, and this is my first time actually seeing it work. Its been more than 20 years, and close to a dozen billion dollars, since they started talking about it

In the tunnel
Busses still use the tunnel, sharing it with the light rail line, like they have ever since the tunnel opened with the tracks the wrong size for the rail cars they bought the first time. In all, it was a great way to spend an afternoon!
