Mt Si
Heading out, I noticed that we had a good view of Mt Si.

The 'I was there' Picture
The two of them had a good time!

Feeding the deer
Feeding the deer is always popular

Making friends
The little guy talked to the deer... 'Come on... Come on... have a bite!' It was fun to watch

checking out the big turtle
The big turtle, which apparently was 'Just like Tommy, Daddy!' (from Bob the Builder) was a big hit.

The Tiger
The Tiger was on patrol, whch the little guy didn't like very much, even behind the cage.

Parade
On the way out of Issaquah, we got to see the Salmon Days Parade

Wild uniforms
Salmon days is a big deal for Issaquah. Held at the start of the Salmon Run, the Festival is a carryover from the celebrations the local native residents had each year when the salmon came back.

A princess float
There were quite a few elaborate floats in the parade

walking the parade
There were also the assorted, 'I want to be in the parade too' entrants... which makes small-town prades so much fun.

Ronald on a Segway
Ronald McDonald is pretty hip

Several bands
There were several marching bands

Go Green
Ignoring the fact that making Bio Deisel uses more reources, and releases more toxins than 'normal' diesel, Bio Deisel is pretty green.

Waste Management
Waste Managment rolled out an early trash truck.

Working on the landscaping
After the parade, we went to Snoqualmie Falls. The little guy was pretty fascinated with the diggers, and wanted to make sure I took a picture.

The Falls
The falls, as always, were pretty impressive

From the overlook
this viewing stand is going to be replaced, so I figured I'd grab a photo of a bit of it.

Checking out the water
The little guy enjoyed the view from on high

Snoqualmie Falls
The Snoqualmie Indians were convinced that this was where God washed himself, and considered it a sacred place. Today, the site is owned by the Muckleshoot Tribe.
