The weather turned pretty nice for the most part, and we really enjoyed the quietness and peacefullness of the Pacific Coast. Almost everyone left after Labor Day weekend, and we seemed to have most places to ourselves.

Exploring
We spent some time checking out the area a bit.

Misty Scene
The trees were pretty amazing, and with a light misty fog in the morning, they took on a look that is quite familiar to the folks in the Pacific Northwest!

Mountain Streams
We drove through the Quinault River Loop Drive, which took us through the upper Quinault River valley. We enjoyed the scenery quite a bit!

Every so often, we'd stop for blackberries. After he'd eaten enough, he handed them over to dad

We enjoyed the sunsets, and we were glad that our cabin was in a good spot to enjoy them from

Kalaloch Beaches
The beaches were very nice! Quiet except for the surf, with very few people around... it was VERY relaxing
