The next morning, it was raining pretty good. It pretty much rained the whole day, with a few breaks here and there...

For a break, and to get out of the weather for a while, we went for a drive. Even in the rain, the scenery was still pretty nice, I thought

In a turn out, the little guy crawled over and got in the steering wheel. He had fun pretending to drive!

Destruction Island Light
The island lighthouse stood out for a bit while we were there.

Back at the campground, the little guy and his second cousin, who is pretty close to his age, played in the sticks

Under the tarps, everyone kept busy, and out of the rain

The little guys had a great time playing, even with the rain falling at times.

Back at the lodge, the view of the 'Big Water', as the little guy labelled the Pacific.

There were some rocks exposed during the low tides that he was fascinated with... he kept calling them 'Dinosoars!'

The beach at Kalaloch
During a break in the rain, we took a walk out to the beach, which always looks impressive! There's not much else like a Northwest beach, that's for sure!

We weren't there very long before the rain started, but the little guy wasn't too keen on exploring much, anyway.

These guys had a lot of fun running around the trees surrounding the campsite... it was fun to watch.
