Keeping the kids interested
We linked up with friends of ours from church... they have 3 kids, and are a bit more experienced at keeping them busy until the parade started.

Boy Scouts
The Boy Scouts led the way, carrying the flag (My camera wasn't ready =S), and setting the pace

Cheap Advertisement
Most of the 'floats' were also adorned with advertisement. That's OK... the kids son't pay attention to that.

Our Mayor
Our mayor rode in on a classic car.

Politicians
Several politicians rode the parade on vehicles that helped show were they stand on various topics

Logging
This guy supports the logging industry.

Girls Marching Club
The local girls marching club had tap shoes on... they sounded great!

Unicycle team
The Mt Si Unicycle club was fresh off its win in the Nationals... they'd just retaken the title the weekend before

Making the jump
one of the members jumped two other brave companions... he was successful, and it was pretty impressive

An old tractor
Several old tractors were in the parade.

Pirates!
An old firetruck from the firefighter's museum carried the 'mandatory' pirates.

SnoValley Schools
The Snoqualmie Valley School system send one of their busses.

Eastside Fire and Rescue
The Eastside Fire and Rescue has a support contract with North Bend, and several other communities on the 'Eastside' of Lake Washington.

Smokey the Bear
Smokey the Bear, the mascot for the US Park Service. This fire truck and crew, which is operated by the Park Service, went down to California last year to help fight fires.
