When we pulled in - the tickets included a parking pass - we noticed there wasn't much of a problem finding a place to park...

Heading in
There's just something about the feeling you get when heading into a baseball park that you can't get anywhere else!

The Park
This was the first game of the season that I've made it to this year. It was good to be back!

Short lines
Heading down for Garlic Fries, we were happy to notice that there weren't a lot of folks milling around, and the lines were quite short.

Nice Seats
We had GREAT seats! Along the 3rd base line, just a bit down from the press box, on the front row... you can't ask for much better than that!

The Game Begins
Beddard, freshly back from an injury, pitched pretty well, although he gave up a couple of early home runs. For most of the game, though, those were the only hits the Angels had...

Hamming it up
We were acting like we were watching the game... well, some of us were... =]

Nice day for a game
The weather was great! Not too cool, and not too breezy... just right for a night under the lights.

It wasn't the M's night
The Mariners never did come back from the home runs, but that's OK... it was a good game, and we had a great time, anyway!

Posing with Jay
Heading out, Jeff posed with the Bone's image on the Wall of Fame.

Joining in
The Mariners won 116 games in a single season, tying the record, taking the AL West. It was - and is - a great Mariners moment...

Nice
I used Live Photo Gallery - available free from get.live.com - to stitch several pictures together to try to capture the scene we enjoyed at the game. In all, it was a great evening for a game, and a great opportunity to share it with friends... that's what makes baseball such a great pasttime, eh?
