On a Saturday afternoon, I took the little guy out for a ride, and stopped at Rattlesnake Lake for a bit... his two favorite things, it seems, are water and rocks, and the lake has lots of both!

Rattlesnake Ledge
This is sort of the 'reverse angle' view of the ridge, when you compare this to the view we have from our house.

WATER! ROCKS!
Water and rocks... what more could a kid want? He had a blast!

The calm lake
The lake was pretty calm... a slight breeze rippled the surface in some areas, but otherwise it was very smooth.

Reflections
The reflections in the water were pretty awesome... my phone's camera didn't do it justice!

Fishing
There were lots of people out on the lake fishing. They don't allow power boats, to keep the lake pristine.

Interesting clouds
It was a VERY nice day! Mostly sunny, with just enough clouds to let you get a break from the big yellow thing now and again.
