Almost gone
The snow was almost gone, ready to fade into a memory of the winter that was... then it started snowing again.

The Snow returns
It didn't stay at first... but then, once the falling stuff was cooling the ground a bit, it started to stay...

Starting to stick
We were at the edge of the snow line, so it was passing back and forth between rain and snow... there was a bit of slush, but nothing too exciting

A light dusting
but it as it got later in the day and it started to cool down a bit, it was more snow than rain, and it started to build up.

Not enough to be worrysome
I wend down into town to get some milk and stuff for the little guy - he's not feeling well, and I wanted to get him some 'comfort foods'...

Clear roads
The roads were quite clear... it was too warm to be icy.

Rain down in town
Down in town, it was just rain... not even a hint of the white stuff

The Edge
Heading up the road to our house, which is about 600 feet above the town in elevation, you could tell where the 'snow line' was..

Nice and white
As the light was fading, it was clear that the snow was going to build up a bit... And there seemed to be more snow on the way for the night.

More snow on the way
Morning saw the snow still falling... everything looked clean and white!

Beary Snowy
When I left for church, I noticed the bears had snow on them... =]

Wintry scene
If I didn't have to leave so early - It was my day to do the slides at church, and I had to be there early to run through them while the worship team practiced... I'd have shoveled.

Looks colder than it is
The snowy Jeep made it look a lot colder than it was!

a decent amount of snow
I thought the Jeep looked pretty cool with the snow on it.

Driving through the highway
The roads were snowcovered, and they weren't plowed or sanded or anything, but they weren't too bad.

Snow down by the highway
Down near the highway, about 600 feet lower, they'd gotten about an inch or two... the roads were actually a bit slicker down here than they were up higher.

Parked at church
I parked on the edge of the parking lot... I was the second person to get there.

Cascade Covenant
The church looked nice in the fresh snow, I thought anyway.

The view from the windows
The view from the window in the sanctuary told the tale of the weather.

Practice
Practice went pretty well, I thought. Its a good time of fellowship.

Outside before first service
I checked things out when practice ended... it was clearing up, but the roads still had snow and slush on them.

Mt Si
Mt Si was covered in clouds... I thought it made for an interesting view

Braving the weather
We had a pretty good attendance, in spite of the bad weather. It ended up being a pretty good service, I thought. No one looked back, so I guess they didn't mind me jumping to a slide early in the middle of a song... my finger twitched and hit the spacebar... not a cool time for that to happen!
