A good portion of the women in our church were away at a women's retreat for the weekend (the Shadow Lady included). The first service was pretty empty... seems more than a few guys had problems getting their little ones out of the house on time! =]

Nearly Empty
When the first service started, there weren't very many people there at all! More drifted in as the service went along, but not nearly as many prople as we usually have! I ran the slides, and had to be in there an hour before the service started for practice... so I didn't have the luxury! I had a bit of a rough morning, but I managed well enough to make it... It sure makes us all appreciate what our wives do for us, that's for sure! =]

The choir
About half the choir helped out with the service this Sunday... the singing was VERY good, I thought. I have family who go to a much larger church where they live... I think I prefer a smaller church, myself. I'm very much at home here.
