Cold Roads
The roads in our neighborhood still have some snow on them, but no ice, so its not a big deal

Mt Si
Mt Si gets the light of the Sun before the valley does, making for a nice view on clear mornings.

In Action
The new spedometer works! =] The cable still makes more noise than I'd like, but I guess I can do something about that later.

Nice View
Heading in to North Bend from Snoqualmie. Mt Si makes for a great backdrop! The field will have elk in it more often than not... what a great place to be from!

Old Breaklights
The lights were next. They're pretty old - probably as old as the Jeep. They kept losing connection, which would cause them to not work at all, which isn't a good thing

The Problem
They just press into place, held firm by a snap ring, which were worn out... the right one would fall out sometimes, even.

In Progress
I had to put plates over the holes that the old lights mounted into, and then mount the new light assemblies to those plates. I got the left one crooked - I guess it slipped while I was drilling. Oh, well... it works!

The New Lights
The new light housings look more like 'CJ' lights. They might not be 'standard' for an old CJ5, but they work, and that's the iimportant part to me!
