2009.03.07 - More Snow
< Back to Currently

The word was that we'd be getting snow today, and they actually were correct. =] In the span of a couple of hours, we got about 6 new inches of snow. Once it slowed down, and the radar seemed to show that things were mostly over for a spell, we all donned some warmer clothes, and went outside to clean up the driveway... fun times!

More Snow!
Ihad been checking off and on through the morning... once the snow started, it started with a vengance!

Snowy Ridge
The ridge got it before we did... LOTS of snow up there!

Getting buried
Once it really started to come down, my jeep got buried even deeper in the white stuff

Quick Accumulation
The snow quickly accumulated to about 5 or 6 inches, then started to slow down. We have another 5-7 due tonight, and another 5-7 due tomorrow... fun times!

Fresh new snow
The yard takes on a whole new look when snow comes!

Coming Down
For a while, it REALLY was coming down

The puzzle again
Just in case I ever DO have a puzzle made, I want to have a nice sampling of pictures. =] I really like this view, actually... very soothing

Checking out the snow
After it slowed down, and the radar seemed to indicate that things were going to take a breather for a bit, we all donned our warmer clothes and headed out to clean up the driveway.

Shoveling
I'm back in practice with shoveling, that's for sure! I like it, and its good exercise, I think. My shoulders don't like it as much as they did when I was a kid...

Helping out
The little guy wanted to help out, so mom gave him an ice scraper... but he wanted the shovel

Pushing some snow
He actually figured it out... and was pushing some snow with the shovel... maybe next year, I won't have to shovel at all!

Bringing the shovel to dad
After a bit, he brought the shovel up the driveway so I could use it... =]

I see you!
I was shoveling around the jeep, and he wanted to climb up into the 'gruck'. =] He's a cute kid!

Having fun
He likes playing in the seat. He even plays with the shifter, and sometimes makes 'car sounds'...

The two boys
I started it up, so he could hear it running... the Shadow Lady got a picture of her two boys playing with a big toy...

Its making noise
When she came back close, he pointed out the fact that the Jeep was making a rumbling noise... funny stuff.
