Have I ever mentioned that I REALLY like where I live? =] Its awesome! The neighborhood is very quiet, and the area is beset with scenery that I know I'll never tire of! Today was a rare sunny day between storms... and the scenery was nothing short of amazing!

The puzzle picture is back
Since I'm between jobs, I let the little guy sleep in, which let me be at home for the sun rise, which, since it was clear outside, was very nice. One of these days, I'm going to turn one of these pictures into a puzzle... I just KNOW it'll be a hard one!

The flooded area
Looking at the scene with the snow making everything beautiful and white, its hard to remember that not too long ago, this area in the picture was flooded over.

Rattlesnake Ledge
On days like this, the Ledge just looks amazing! What a view from our living room window!

Rattlesnake Ridge
From across the street, the ridge rises up another 1400 feet above us... the snowy trees really set the scene!

Welcome to North Bend
Heading in to North Bend, I was able to catch this shot... what a great place to live!!!

Mt Si
Mt Si was looking GREAT! The cloud is from moisture being forced out of the air being pushed up and over it by the prevailing winds... it makes for a nice, fluid scene.

Snowy Neighborhood
Our neighborhood looks even better with a layer of fresh snow on the trees!

My Jeep
Since the wipers need to be repaired (the motor is burned out), my jeep, which would be FUN on days like today, sadly has to sit. Its in the budget for this month, though, so it won't be that way for long!

Snow Cap
Heading in to the house, I thought this picture of the bear on our porch was pretty cool. A new definition of a snow cap! =]
